Nature and glamping

Day 1 Bariloche.

Arrival at Bariloche airport on a morning flight. After reception, transfer to Puerto Tunquelen, 25 km from Bariloche city centre, meeting point to set sail to the Island. The 30 minutes navigation is very scenic. After crossing part of the Blest arm, you enter the calm waters of Anchorena Bay, where the host waits at the pier to welcome you and comment on the activities planned during your stay.

The island is 11 km long and covers a total of 3700 hectares, most of which are covered with old coihues, cypresses and myrtle islets. Walking around is a journey through time.

Day 2 & 3 Bariloche. B L D

Days at disposal to enjoy daily activities, programmed by Baqueano guides, such as cycling, kayaking, horseback riding or hiking.

During your free time you can enjoy the facilities prepared for your rest and relaxation such as the outdoor swimming pool, sauna, Scottish shower, hydro massage, enjoy a good book in the library or simply relax by the fireplace.

In the evenings enjoy the stone cellar that hosts an excellent collection of wines from Argentinean labels that are paired with a cuisine of prestigious reputation.

Day 4 Bariloche / Esquel / Huemules Mountain Reserve. B D

Around midday, we leave Puerto Tunquelen to drive southwards to Esquel to stay in Huemules, a glamorous mountain reserve, nestled in the Patagonian forest with domes overlooking nature.

After receiving you, the host will explain about the different activities to be carried out during your stay.

Day 5 & 6 Huemules Mountain Reserve. B L D

Days at disposal for activities according to your preference and physical conditions. The reserve offers 6200 hectares of Andean-Patagonian forest with countless circuits.

You will be able to make a daily full day excursion or two half day excursions to choose between trekking, horseback riding and mountain biking options in summer, and horseback riding, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in winter.

During the stay, we recommend you to book or add one night to visit Los Alerces National Park, a protected natural area, recently included in the UNESCO World Natural Heritage list, created to protect the alerces, one of the longest living trees on the continent that has become endangered.

Day 7 Huemules Mountain Reserve / Esquel. B

Morning at leisure to connect with the nature. At the agreed time, transfer to the airport to take the scheduled flight.
