Visited places

Manaus

Starting point for exciting tours that unveil the Amazon Forest, Manaus, Amazonas state capital is the main financial, corporate, and economic center of northern Brazil. It is a historical and port city, located in the middle ofthe world’s largest rainforest. One of the main tourist attractions of Manaus is the Amazon Theatre, opened onDecember 31, 1896, being the main Cultural Artistic Heritage of Amazonas state and the most significant work of the golden era of rubber.

Amazon River Boat

The remote and unexplored state Amazonas is the biggest rainforest, home to largest population of indigenous people in Brazil. With few exceptions, the jungle is relatively untouched, and we will have abundant opportunities to observe the fascinating flora and fauna. The best option for exploring this lush region lies in an excursion of 4 daysand 3 nights including hiking, nocturnal observation of caimans, piranhas fishing, swimming with the pink Amazondolphins, a jungle survival tour, a visit to the caboclas   communities and a canoe trip along the igarapés and the igapós. It is a truly unique experience.

Campo Grande

Planned and forested without losing its interior city style, Campo Grande, capital of Mato Grosso do Sul, is a mix of cultures. It is the gateway to the Pantanal. From the indigenous tribes of the region come the beautiful crafts, with lots of ceramic and wood pieces, besides the colorful tapestries. From the neighboring country, Paraguay, the influence is gastronomic presenting us the chipa – a kind of compact cheese bread – and the Paraguayan soup, which is actually a pie. To drink, a lot of tereré, a kind of iced mate tea. Also, to enhance regional cooking there are Japanese dishes, heritage of the immigrants who came from across the world in the early 20th century.

South Pantanal

For those who like that farm environment, with food cooked on the wood stove, and a lot of nature, SouthPantanal is the ideal place! Due to its geological profile that provides a water flow, the Pantanal has two distinctseasons annually: the dry season and the full season. It is considered one of the richest places in biodiversity in the world. This ecosystem has the highest density of wildlife in the Americas, being compared to the savannas ofAfrica. A scenario considered a real open sky zoo. Tours, lodging, and meals showcase the best of Pantanal natureand culture delighting all tastes!

Bonito

The South Mato Grosso paradise has a name, and it responds to “Bonito” (beautiful), a nomenclature which fits in perfectly with what you find in the small town. An unforgettable destination where nature lovers will find the most varied scenarios to delight eyes, mind, and body. Swimming with fish of various species, walk on trails, observeanimals in their natural habitat, rappel down a cave, ride a horse, take a waterfall bath, and admire amazing landscapes are some – only some – of the things to do in town. It’s amazing the number of attractions in such asmall space!

Salvador

The mixture of Portuguese, African and indigenous influences that we find in Salvador de Bahia translates into a unique culture where the traveler can experience this fusion in the gastronomy, festivals, religions, and lifestyle of the people of Salvador. Furthermore, history left behind a priceless legacy of buildings from the 17th and 18thcenturies in the Pelourinho, the historic city center, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This lively zone permits travelers to lose themselves among the cobbled alleyways and colonial buildings while experiencingthe vibrant energy of the city.

Boipeba

In the state of Bahia, at the south of Ilha de Tinharé, across the Strait of Inferno River, we find Ilha de Boipeba, one of the best kept secrets of the coast of Bahia. The town of Boipeba Velha is quiet and rustic and it is said that looks like Morro de Sao Paulo 20 years ago. The coast is paradisiacal, with more than 20 km ofimmaculate deserted beaches and natural pools, including Ponta de Castellanos, famous among scuba divers. Upon arrival to Boipeba you won’t be able to resist the urge to stroll barefoot along the smooth sands or swing peacefullyin a hammock as you listen to the sound of the sea.
