ADVENTURES ON WHEELS – BIKES & WINES

DAY 1    COLONIA DEL SACRAMENTO

Arriving at Colonia del Sacramento, meet and greet. Transfer to hotel.  In the afternoon we will visit the followingsites on a bike tour: Old city with its lighthouse and historical places and its famous: Calle de los Suspiros. We will walk for short along the old city visiting the UNESCO Heritage site on the way on the coast it is possible to see thewidest river in the world, sandy beaches, islands, and the residential area, getting to a place called real de San Carlos.There you will visit a Touristic complex built by Nicholas Milanovich.

It includes a bullring, a squash fronton, a hotel- casino, an electric central and a pier.

Architectural styles will be present to appreciate along our biking, enriching your views.  Old streets, houses, the church, bastions, the wall, plus visits and the narration of a local guide, will make you feel the past along yourbike tour.  Overnight in Colonia del Sacramento.

DAY 2   COLONIA DEL SACRAMENTO / CONCHILLAS

After a buffet breakfast we will departure from Colonia to Conchillas.

We will take the route to enter the roads and visit the old museum of cars, if possible, with an Establishmentwhere we a typical barber shop will be found, a pulperia, an ancient watch collection and machines that will takeus back to the past.  All kept in an outstanding condition.  We will continue its way to the oldest and Prestigiouswinery in the hills: Cerros of San Juan, to be able to ride along its vineyards and appreciate the landscapes thatsurrounds it.  Coordinated lunch is optional.

After entering the route, we will ride to the small city radial Conchillas, and then to our lovely hotel. Alwaysdiscovering green areas and unique places to make the experience unique.  Overnight.

DAY 3   CARMELO

After our buffet breakfast we will discover the inner beauties of Carmelo.

We will go along typical places and warehouses as well as to the Jesuitic ruins of the Calera de las Huerfanas, together with its museum and ovens of coal, where we will find natural ponds. If the weather allows us, we will enjoy a bath following the indications of the guide.

We will then visit el Legado winery and go round its vineyards and history. Wine tasting or lunch arranged at your request.

Overnight in el Legado or Campotinto

 DAY 4    CARMELO

After our breakfast we will walk the most emblematic places of this beautiful city:  Carmelo Estrella, Punta Gorda, kilometer 0 of Rio de la Plata, casa chic and its port of yachts Camacho yacht port, Narbona chapel, golf club and its club house, Campotinto winery, Cordano winery, Urrutia winery.  Return to hotel.  Overnight in el Legado or Campotinto total approximate kms: 55 km

DAY 5    CARMELO / MONTEVIDEO

After our breakfast time a leisure to continue discovering this beautiful place.

In the afternoon private transfer to Montevideo check in at the hotel.  Overnight in Montevideo.

DAY 6    MONTEVIDEO

We departure from the old city where most of the important history is, as well as ministries, state Offices, banks, museums, art galleries, and cultural centers. We will visit the main squares, see the History of the main buildings and all what you

Should know about our past from the beginning of our history. Once in the Main square, Independence square, we will be able to know the government

House, salvos palace and the rest and important constructions. We will continue to visit Solis Theatre, the most important theatre in our city to The continue along the coast to discover our famous “Rambla”, the longest in South America, which is the common entertaining area of Uruguayans, either after work or at weekends. We arrive till Punta Carretas’ s neighborhood to discover the famous lighthouse and its surroundings, enjoy the coast View from its point to then return to the departure spot. Overnight in Montevideo.

DAY 7   MONTEVIDEO / PUNTA DEL ESTE

After our buffet breakfast private transfer to Punta del Este with a stop at Casapueblo for visit. Check in atthe hotel.

In the afternoon back to wheels! We stop at the most emblematic icons as well as Cultural and entertainingareas in Punta del Este. Time to hydrate, enjoy and contemplate the beauty that surrounds us.

We will visit La Mano´s monument, Brava beach, shipwreck, El Emir beach, Punta vapor, English beach,Punta salina, Great Britain square (battle of Rio de la Plata – Graf Spee), Punta del Este lighthouse, firstschool in Punta del Este, compass rose,

DAY 8   HARAS LAS TORDILLAS LODGE

The first 17 km ride will be to a famous olive region after experiencing the paths and trails that will show us wonderful views and enchanting nature to receive us with a wine & olive tasting with its appetizers to give us the proper reward we need.

Then we will head to Pueblo Eden to experience the life of a tiny town where the only things that flies is the wind. A town inhabited by only 100 persons but where one of the most famous restaurants is there and tea house to enjoy the rural environment.

After visiting the area, we will return to our lodging where a good rest and views waits for us. Overnight in Haras las Tordillas

DAY 9    HARAS LAS TORDILLAS LODGE

After a wonderful breakfast and the best views at hand we will head to arrospide gold mine, 27 kms Northor to abieca olive establishment, 28 kms

South. A good rest after a hilly ride will wait for us to return our way to our lodging.  Overnight in Haras lastordillas

DAY 10    HARAS LAS TORDILLAS LODGE/ AIRPORT

After a great breakfast, transfer to the airport. End of our services.
