ITINERARY

1st day Thursday: Athens

Arrival in Athens. Our assistant will be waiting you for the transfer from the airport to the Hotel. Take advantage of your assistant local tips and start a stroll through the center of Athens for a first taste of the city.

 

2nd day Friday: Athens City tour – Optional

The Athens city tour will be passing through the main highlights of the city. We start from Hadrian’s Arch and continue visiting the Panathinaiko Stadium (also known as Kalimarmaro), which was originally built in 329 BC, and where the first Olympics of the modern era were held in 1896. We continue to the main square of the city named “Syntagma ” square (Constitution), where the presidential guard is located. With its typical costumes, the so called” Evzonos ” make the change of guard in front of the Greek parliament and the Tomb of the unknown soldier. After we continue the panoramic tour visiting the Neoclassical buildings of Athens such as the College, the library, and the Academy, and finally we will visit Acropolis and Parthenon, this magnificent monument built in 447 BC during the golden age of Pericles dedicated to Goddess Athena. We will appreciate the Propylaea, temple of Athens Nike, Erechtheum and all its magnificent constructions. After Acropolis we will visit the Acropolis Museum, a building of a modern architecture, hosting the unique antiquities from the Acropolis. Enjoy the free afternoon to discover the center of Athens around Acropolis, strolling through Monastiraki, Plaka and Thissio, enjoying the pleasant sites of the ancient city.

 

3rd day Saturday: Lefkas Marina – Yacht Cruise – Skorpios- Meganisi

We leave the Hotel in the morning and transfer to the the island of Lefkas. On arrival at Lefkas marina, our representative will meet you for the check in procedures until 17:00 o’clock. Departure and visit the island of Skorpios, famous for being the private island of Onassis, where we can see the island and swim in its waters. Meganisi is in the southwest of Lefkada, at a distance of 4 nautical miles (30 minutes) away from Nidri. It is the largest of the islands in the area, a quiet place with attractive beaches. Meganisi has an area of 20 square kilometers. It is subject administratively to Lefkada and is divided into the villages Katomeri, Vathi and Spartochori.

4th day Sunday: Kioni – Ithaka

We continue our journey towards the village of Kioni with its graceful amphitheater architecture. The Marina of Kione also offers options for taverns and cafeterias. We will spend the night moored in Kione.

5th day Monday: Kefalonia- Fiskardo, Ag. Efthimia

We will leave for Kefalonia. We head to Fiskardo, one of the most popular and visited villages in Kefalonia. Fiskardo has good infrastructure in relation to restaurants, coffee shops and local shops. In the afternoon we leave to Agia Efthimia, formerly a fishing village and today one of the most charming bays due to its central position in Kefalonia surrounded by green hills.

6th day Tuesday: Zakynthos – Ag Nikolaos

In the morning departure towards Zakynthos and explore the beautiful beach of Alykes. In the afternoon spend the night at Ag. Nikolaos small port.

7th day Wednesday: Zakynthos- Navagio beach – Kefalonia

In the morning departure towards Navagio Beach, considered one of the most beautiful in the world. At the end of the day, we leave Zakynthos to reach Kefalonia port of Poros.

Overnight: Kefalonia, Poros

8th day Thursday: Ithaka – Kalamos

We will sail towards Frikies on the east coast of Ithaka, the island of the legendary Ulysses myth and the Odyssey. The blue tones drawn in the sea of the port of Frikies and an invitation to hours of relaxation and contentment of nature. Be sure to visit one of the most interesting tourist spots in Frikes, which are the traditional windmills at the top of the village. We will sail to Kalamos where in the past, the port was used by local fishermen as a refuge. Here you will also recognize the typical colors of small traditional Ionian ports. Relax and enjoy the calm and take a dip in the turquoise waters.

9th day Friday: Lefkas – marina

In the afternoon we arrive at Lefkas. The east coast section of the island has small resorts of Lygia, Nikiana and Perigiali, all north of Nidri, the largest resort on the island. It is set in a sheltered location with views across to Skorpios—owned by Aristotle Onassis, Meganissi and other small islands, as well as the Greek mainland. The main coastal road from Lefkada to Vasiliki runs through the village, although a bypass has now been completed which skirts the village to the west. The famous beach of Porto Katsiki is located on Lefkada’s west coast. Lefkada was attached to mainland Greece, were the Corinthians dug a trench in the 7th century BC on its isthmus and now its connected with a floating bridge.

10th day Saturday: Athens

In the morning check out from the yacht and transfer to Athens. Arrival at the hotel and check in. Enjoy your last night in Athens and experience the spectacular Greek cuisine that is the basis of the Mediterranean diet and follow with a typical greek drink “ouzo” or a good Greek wine and discover the real nightlife that Athens offers.

11th day: Return

At a designated time, transfer from your hotel to the airport.

Excluded from rate and mandatory, to be paid on the spot by client:

  • Yacht fuel paid after the end of cruise on the spot, depending on itinerary made.
  • Yacht Charter Guarantee deposit upon arrival for any damage on board. Refundable after the end upon no damages on the boat.
  • Cleaning service after checking out from yacht, paid on the spot
  • Marina fees depending on the places visited.

Important notes:

  • The itinerary described while in the yacht is subject to the weather conditions and it can be altered accordingly.
  • Travel Insurance is highly recommended for medical and travel cancelations
  • A list of ideal clothing for sailing is available at your request Yacht types: The yachts may be similar to the ones mentioned.
  • It is recommended that persons taking part on the yacht cruise to be acquainted with each other or be at similar age.
  • Each cabin can host 2 persons. For the bunk bed cabins, its recommended use for children
  • The types used are Bavaria – Jeanneau – Beneteau – Ocean Star.
